Enrichment

Children have an option to extend their days a few more hours by staying for the afternoon enrichment classes. With options for math, art, Spanish and science, this is another way to add to your child’s early learning experience.

Afternoon classes are for ages four and older and are a wonderful way to introduce children to a longer day at school and have fun learning something new each day. Our enrichment programs give children extra social time with peers by mixing the K and Pre K classes together for lunch and outdoor playtime, finishing the day with an engaging and mind enriching activity.

Afternoon enrichment pick up is 2:30pm. This program is offered to children 4 years old and above and is offered Monday-Thursday (no afternoon enrichment class on Friday).

Learning



Outdoor Play

Children play outdoors everyday as the teachers and staff at Kinder Magic strongly believe in the benefits and necessity for children to get a daily dose of fresh air, to move their bodies and explore the wonders that exist outside. Recess is a favorite time of the mornings for many children. They can express and move their bodies in big and bold ways, use big voices, and run wild with their imagination and imaginative play.



Art

Children who stay for art enrichment are encouraged to get curious about shapes, colors, textures and different art materials. From day one the children are introduced to guided drawing, imaginative color mixing and art concepts they will use for years to come. Children will bring home many beautiful and unique masterpieces throughout the year and will take pride in their artistic abilities and creativity.



Spanish

Children who stay for Spanish will be introduced to the language through song, puppetry, and other playful and creative modalities to ignite their curiosity and introduction to a foreign language. Throughout the course of the year the children will learn colors and practice counting and will explore topics such as feelings, weather, days of the week, and more, all in Spanish!



Math

Children who stay for math enrichment are met where they are at and guided by teachers who adapt to their unique learning styles. They are introduced to number concepts, early addition and subtraction and can always look forward to activities and games that ignite their math brains!



Science

Children who stay for science will dive right in as they explore and predict and get curious about the way things work, nature, space, the human body, and all things science. Children will have hands-on moments to experiment, predict outcomes, and explore the natural world.
